Dollar General – Hawley, Texas In June 2015, a male employee in about his late 20’s early 30’s and very clean cut became very irate at a customer for not putting items back on the shelf exactly as they were when the customer removed them. The irate employee presented himself as “being in charge” and ranted on about how he will remove the customer from the store unless she adjusted the items that she put back on the shelf exactly as they were when she removed them.
She nicely explained that she really could not remember and before she could finish explaining herself, he grabbed the item from her hand and placed it back on the shelf himself and told her to get out of [his] store. Embarrassed, she placed her items on the counter and left the store apologizing to the customers as she passed them.
