Under 6 hours you do not get a break, 6-8 hours you get half n hour, 8 - over you get hour break.. That is how the breaks go where I live. They always have me under 5 hours so I do not get any breaks

This site doesn't help people with problems. Were you assigned times to take your breaks, and if you were, then you should have known to take them and tell another employee you were going on break.

Your manager probably got her lunch break because managers work more hours than the general employees do. Also I have never heard of any business giving lunch breaks to people that are scheduled to work less than eight hour shifts, and then you have to clock out and you end up working for 7.5 hours and that is what you get paid for. Yes, you probably should have had a 15 minute break, but that is all. I used to work a 12 hour shift, standing in one spot and got a total of 1 1/2 hours worth of breaks.

That was 1/2 hour for lunch and two 15 minute breaks. If you don't like working where you are, then quit and go back one of the other nice places you worked at. You could also contact your State Labor Relations Board and see what they say.

Don't you ever get any breaks when you work seven hours, or is this a one time thing?

First off you don't tell any other emplyee that your going to break or lunch if you get ethier you need to call the MOD and let them know they may have gotten busy and forgot you got a lunch. And to tell someone if your not happy quit is unprofessional if you work for DG
