We recently had a DG built in our small rural area and we like it being here and the community enthusiastically supports the facility. However th community has questions, concerns, suggestions, and yes some complaints.

The first questions is do you have your inventory for all stores on a network that transfers inventory levels as well as movement in and out of store by location? Does it then calculate order points, order quantities to identify those items in each location that move quantities quickly and those items that barely move at all. Does the system identify items for transfer between location? I will stop there for I must express some concerns about employees.

What is used to determine employee levels certainly in rural areas? Does DG attempt to gain a relationship with rural area law enforcement so as to have someone at store after dark or at least while closing? Does DG consider having off duty law enforcement work perhaps four hour shifts with enough to possibly cover entire work day? Lastly does DG consider two employees sufficient to couteously and assistive operate a rural area facility?

I hope this email makes it all the way to board level for this is just a start of what would make our new DG facility a star performer and quality copied but never duplicated profit center. Please reply back to jimmpbar@outlook.com for concerns are very real.
