A DISGUSTED CUSTOMER!! BAD management from the head person in charge down to the store SM n ASM.
I have visit this store 6 to 10 times a day and for almost a year i have watch this store fall badly. One thing i see is that the new management team is NOT doing a good job at all i see a lot of the other employee always working but i hardly see the SM or ASM working. I also have been in the store shopping and i have overheard the SM talk about who is not doing their job and who is I also overheard the SM stating that she was going to try and make the people quit that she didn't want at the store. As a customer i feel like thats is very unprofessional of the SM.
Im saying something now because i have family that works for Dollar General and i dont want to believe that alot of the employees dont get move up to other position because of their color. Honestly i will say that after going to the store one day and when i got all the items that i came for I'm standing and line waiting for the cashier to come and the customer in front of me had a purchase of alcohol products and the customer looks at the young man and ask was he old enough to even sell beer the cashier responsed "he is the ASM so it shouldn't matter of his age." Im shock because if this going man is not legal to buy alcohol how can he sale it.
There was another incident where i overheard two employee talking with a customer and the customer ask have she thought about moving up and another employee made the statement that it was a waste of time because "SHE WAS BLACK". I really think this store has,really fallen since the old manager Ashley Freels left and i really think and wish that they would hire Ashley Freels back.
