I was told that the district mgr. would get back with me, it was three weeks ago, I told them to have him leave me a message, I havent heard a word.
My check was rejected because it implied I had a bad check, not so. I have had my checking acct. for about 30 yrs. and is a golden acct.
I havent had a bad check with you or anybody else. I dont appreciate being embarrassed like that with other cust. behind me. I will be telling everyone I know about the bad service from Dollar General!!!

Today ***** I went to a dollar general in Frankfort NY. Now I know that there are massive deals going on and that coupons can link with the clearance items.
When I first went and did my purchase I got home and realized that none of my coupons came off. The only discounts I got were the clearance promotions. I later returned to the store where the same lady cashed me out the first time and she gladly helped me this time around when explaining to her that I should have paid less due to my coupons. This lady helped me out and and returned everything and then rescanned everything and then some of my coupons did apply to purchases but after getting home again I realized that AGIAN not all of my coupons came off my transaction.
Ive been doing this a long time and know what should have come off and what shouldnt have. I would greatly appreciate if someone could get back to me since I am owed money.
I still have my original receipt, the returned item receipt, and now my current one were not all of my coupons came off my total purchase. So any information that is needed can be given from all the receipts.

I arrived at dollar general arond 730p I noticed that the doors was locked and chained although the sign on the door stated they that location closed at 9p. I waited by 30minS and other cars/shoppers started pulling up only to realize that da door was already locked an hr and a half before closing.
The associated finally came to do door and stated that she couldnt let anyone in because she is there by herself. Which isnt the consumer problem. Evidently she need additional help if shes the only person there. This is totally unacceptable and ridiculous because of the lack of help, and of course a lost of money for the store.
This incident was totally avoided if she had the required help. I understand that she may feel for her safety but again thats not the consumer problem.
This particular location needs additional help or part time security. This was the most horrible incident Ive ever had wig dollar general and Im hopping that a change is non the near future.

What a piece of garbage you are dismissing her concern for her safety as “not your problem “. How feminine of you to be so upset because you could not shop. I hope you had a tissue in your purse as you started to cry.
I’m sorry you are wrong for making such an assumption. There should have been enough staff to allow us shoppers to shop. If the cashier knew she was going to be the only there she should’ve called for help or have an on duty security officer.
Maybe you are not aware, but most restaurants and retail store are short-staffed. Companies would like to fill open positions, but people just are not applying.
Maybe you are unaware that if something bad is going to happen then it is, that still doesn’t give that associate to lock and pull chains in front of the door for her safety. Also if that employee is worried about her safety then don’t you think it’s time for her to find another job that will accommodate her and make her feel safe. IJS

Most likely, her manager told her to close early because of lack of staff.
