You sale "Spendwell" Debit Visa cards. These are worthless, there is zero accountability when you cannot get the stupid thing "registered".
I finally got hold of someone who told me I could have them change the card to a one time only usage transaction.
I put $100 on it! probably spent $100 in time trying to resolve my purchase also. So, I had them change it for a onetime transaction. I haven't decided how I am going to spend it therefore, I don't know if this solution is going to work.
I would recommend you screen these companies better before doing business with them.
I bought this to buy items online in a more secure way, did not work out for me. I thought with Visa's name on it, it would have great representation, not the case they have a different bank backing them now, either way there was not a working number to phone anybody but the "Spendwell" company.
Preferred solution: That all depends on if I can get my $100.00 back from this debit card! S0ure I'd like my time repaid that I've lost but, that's not going to happen.
User's recommendation: Be very careful about buying these debit cards. Go with one with good reviews and don't put a lot of cash on it at first.

My medical bag and the security guards
I don't Overstand how it is you all don't have more Lawsuits on your hands. You hire security guards who smell like weed and then always want to HARASS DISABLED CUSTOMERS LIKE MYSELF JUST FOR COMING INTO YOUR STORE TO SHOP ALL BECAUSE WE HAVE TO BRING OUR MEDICAL BAG WITH US.
I HAVE BEEN CLEARED BY CYNTHIA IN CORPORATE TELLING ME THAT I WAS ALLOWED TO BRING MY BAG INTO THE STORE AND THAT YOU ALL ARE NOT INSURED TO TELL PEOPLE TO LEAVE THEIR BAGS AT THE FRONT OF THE STORE BUT THIS CERTAIN SECURITY GUARD AT THE SUNNYVALE STORE KEEPS ON PICKING ON ME AND PUT HIS HANDS ON HIS GUN TELLING ME THAT HE WAS GOING TO USE DEADLY FORCE TO REMOVE ME FROM THE STORE ALL BECAUSE I WOULD NOT GIVE HIM MY MEDICAL BAG IN ORDER TO ENTER THE STORE. NOT THAT I WAS STEALING...
BUT "TO KEEP ME FROM STEALING"...(THAT'S CALLED DISCRIMINATION AND RACIAL PROFILING) THEN HE SNATCHED THE BASKET OUT OF MY HAND AND TOLD ME TO LEAVE THE STORE OR HE WOULD "USE DEADLY FORCE IF NECESSARY TO MAKE ME LEAVE THE STORE" WHILE PLACING HIS HAND ON HIS GUN... WHICH WAS THREATENING ME WITH A DEADLY WEAPON OVER MY MEDICAL BAG WHEN I HAD EVERY RIGHT TO BE IN THE STORE.

I went in to return a toilet seat I bought just a cpl hours earlier. I walked up to the cashier and said Id like to make a return.
She asked with an attitude (which I was taken aback by to be honest) what kind of return? I was confused because theres only one kind of return, and thats where you return the goods and get a refund. But ok. I said Im returning a toilet seat that doesnt fit.
During this transaction, theres a man walking back and forth talking to my cashier. First, he said something I could not hear. Then after I said a return, he said we shouldnt take returns on Thanksgiving to her. Then he picked up a plant and him and her had an exchange about it.
Then she asked why I was returning it. I said to her I had already said that it didnt fit. Because keep in mind, they are NOT in any way interested in providing me any customer service. Then HE made a snide comment about what I said.
SHE asked something to him, like who me, or are you talking to me? He said Im talking to her. I told him youre not talking to me. Then he commented on what I said.
It was very uncalled for. I had a few choice words , he walked away and came back, never talking or looking directly to me. He was never even assisting me. The fact that I came in to make a return in a fine mood, then was presented by two ppl who have poor service skills and had no interest in helping me.
Rather, they made me feel like I was being a hassle for no reason. I did mention I had already said it didnt fit because I did, in fact already say it. She just was not listening or didnt hear me because she didnt care or she was distracted by him. Ppl like this make me hate going into your stores.

Your employees get what they give. It didnt have to go like that. Whoever the man was instigating and antagonizing me, should be fired.
He can be replaced. And the cashier was complicit.
She should have ignored him and just processed my transaction without responding to him at all.
Im also going to review this location with their names. I literally hate Dollar General because of this interaction.

3 weeks before Xmas there were fraudulent charges on my debit card . Bank shut it off .
It take 12 to 15 days to get a new one . So I went to dollar general and bought a Verizon card to pay my phone and 2ea. $100 Amazon gift cards to purchase a clutch for my truck .
The first time the gut scand them the Amazon cards didn't work so I paid the for everything else then he ran them again he said ok I gave him 2 $100 bills he put the receipt in the bag with the other
1 of the card wasn't activated. So I call Amazon they told me to take it back to the store
25 miles 1 direction They said can't do anything call Amazon I did they said the same thing.
So I went back to the store because no one answered. 3 time I did this before calling the corporate office The area manager was calling me back . Nope one called so I called again 5 days later . As I have a life S we'll
Now after getting a scolding from customer service about why I did call again right away the Reginald manager finally called .
Made an appointment with the store manager the next day . Unfortunately I got sick and wasn't able to make it but called. She had no idea what I was talking about .
I'm still recovering frombeing sick but I believe the lil turd got me for $100 . I said it will be on the cameras as my receipts only shows 1 activation.
Now the corporate office number isn't working ! I'm sure that's a coincidence but still !

I've always hated the music in DG's, from NY where I live down the Eastern Coast but today was the end of my relationship with dollar general. I absolutely was livid.
The lyrics were: the female voice said she couldn't help herself while dancing and lifted her top over her head and then dropped her skirt.
Then the male voice said he couldn't help himself as he touched her and then SPRAYED all over her.
Manager said it's the only station they're allowed to play.
I said then just don't play anything. she said she can't!

I'm sad that I have to write this complaint. I am a loyal customer of the Dollar General Stores.
I shop there EVERY week because I am a couponer. Needless to say, today 2-1-24 I stop into the Dollar General on Oberlin Ave in Lorain Ohio at around 5:45 on my way home from work to get some toiletries and to use a coupon, I also had DG cash on my app. Well after the young lady (white girl with long ponytail) rang me up my total was $20 and some change. I held my phone up for her to scan my $9.50 DG cash and the total went up to over $33.
I said "how did that happen?" She said, oh it added instead of subtracted. She said "I just take off one of the toilet papers". So after she did whatever it is she did, the total was $24 and some change. I said, that's still not right, before you scanned my DG cash my total was $20?
After about a minute or two of trying to figure out with her she got really irritated and said. " I'M NOT DOING THIS, DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT." I said yes I want it, but I just want to be charged right. SHE SAID, "I TOLD YOU WHAT I DID NOW DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT, IF NOT YOU CAN JUST GO BECAUSE I HAVE A LINE AND YOUR HOLDING IT UP!!" Really loud and rude. There was 2 people behind me but there was also another cashier ringing people out.
I have never been so embarrassed in my life. I didn't even get a chance to speak, she said GET OUT, GET OUT OR IN CALLING THE POLICE AND YOUR GOING TO JAIL. I asked her her name, she said I'M NOT GIVING YOU NOTHING. And she walked away.
I said ok, I'll take ur pic as I held my phone up like I took a pic and walked out. She said you better not, and ran to get her phone saying "I can do the same thing." As I'm exiting the store I here her screaming " YOUR JUST MAD CAUSE YOUR BROKE. THAT'S WHY YOUR MAD BECAUSE YOUR BROKE" I never once raised my voice and this young lady or got disrespectful with her. Couponing only recently became a hobby of mine.
I have two collage kids and I have been working in the medical field for over 20 years. Its just a hobby, I don't NEED to do it but I enjoy it. This has been the worst experience I've ever had. I would never treat a patient the way she treat DG customers.
So sad.
Love your job or find a new one. I will never go back there as long as she work there.

Was shopping after work for a few items like I used to up to 4 times a wk at this location. DG West Erie Ave 44053 Lorain, OH.
Manager alaways busy talking to customers , conversating and makes sure she finishes convo no matter how long you wait in line to check out. Will have person checked out and convobwith him or her for another 5 minutes while making me wait. Not that bad but rude. She had a store worker follow me and then ask her upon me coming up to register is that all he shopped for and aske if thats all the items he got.
I have been shopping there for 3 yrs and seen plenty of replacements. Ppl that worked there used to be friendly. Since she took over and the incident of accusing me to be thiefing in her store I cant shop there any further with her nonsense and total disrespect. Been there before where past workers just stay outside smoking cigs or hanging out with friends and both while shopping and never been accused of stealing till she came in, and she has ruined my experience with DG.
I respect DG because how the corporation helped with my niece Jamie Gunter funeral after being killed in a car accident with her man and because of him. I have had many convo with past workers and enjoyed there politeness and work. This lady is ridiculous, she has blantenly followed me in past shopping tips alsoi know I have not gave any employer there a reason to believe Im stealing because I dont.
I shop with my debit card and if you guys save all the info can tell i buy stuff every trip I make in there.. she needs to be checked about her rudeness and taught to be a store worker and not a gossiper trying to make various shoppers look like thieves.

What is in this medical bag?
I don't need to tell you in detail what is in my medical bag just like I don't need to tell anyone else who don't need to know the exact context of my medical history to walk in public. But to give you an overview of what a medical bag can consist of.
It can be anything that is considered medically necessary to save that person live. You don't ask a female to leave her big *** purse in the front of the store every time she walks in or what is in it. I have a right to privacy and to be treated with respect while shopping not as a criminal because I am disabled. I don't let the police search my medical bag because they would not know the first thing about it unless I explained it to them.....
if they would listen that is....a person could carry their asthma pump, their blood pressure medications, or even their *** bag in thier medical bag just to go shop and don't want others to know..... whatever a disabled person carry in their medical bag is their business and their right as a personand it is medically necessary then they should bee allowed to carry it.
