On 3/7/24 at approximately 5:30pm i visited your store on St. Vincents Ave, La Salle, IL.

61301 and had the worst experience with your new employee, Emilie. I shop at this store several times per week and until that day, i thoroughly enjoyed the store and the staff. Emilie how ever was beyond rude and disrespectful. I went in and asked if they do Western Union Quick Collect.

Without a greeting or even a decent attitude she rudely asked, "do you have the app?" I said no, but i will download it. I shopped in the store picking up a couple of items while the app downloaded. I proceeded to checkout and again, no greetings , just rude vibes, i said i downloaded the app. She called another staff member over and started telling her what buttons to push then stopped and rudely starred at me.

After moments of awkward silence, i said, i need your help, i have the app, how do i do the quick collect? She rudely said "i dont know. All i know is you have to have the App." I asked her now what, im not sure what to do. She looked angry and irritated and with a major attitude told me she has no idea.

I said i guess we'll go to anither agent that can help. She then rudely stated "good" then as i was walking towards the doir "bye" (in a way that was like 'bye felicia and leave') i turned and told her that she needs customer service training. She then told me "its your fault" and told me i was rude. When i asked for her name, she stepped at me, tore her badge off, shoved it in my face and said her name is Emilie.

At this point i said do you need to take this outside? She laughed and starred at me and made comments that i couldnt hear. I then quietly and calmly walked to the register behind the customer checking out. She continued raising her voice telling me "come on, touch me, put your hands on me." i quietly and calmly said im not and i calmly told her that i want the number for corporate.

She continued yelling at me while i stood quietly waiting for the number that she said she would give me. She continued yelling as she walked away, i waited for a bit and while she continued using profanity and saying rude things and not giving me the number i stated i have it on one of my many recepts and left.
I am appalled at the way i was treated and the type of person you have employed there. I would like to know what you are going to do about this situation? As i stated, before this incident i loved this store and the staff was always great, but this employee went beyond poor customer service.

Also, the staff member i mentioned earlier that she was 'training', i assumed that, but she had no name tag on and was wearing a frumpy hoodie and other than the fact she was behind the counter, you would not guess or be able to tell shes an employee.

I understand its sometimes difficult to find staff, but hiring staff members like Emilie is not the answer unless you want to lose your customers or have law suits filed. Thank you for your time and i look forward to your response in this matter.

I was able to speak with someone easily and he was very apologetic and assured me it would be handheld to my satisfaction. He told me he was escalating the complaint and that someone would call me within 24 hours to discuss what their plan of action was and make sure I was satisfied with it and if I wasn't then we'd definitely come to a resolution I was okay with. I never got the phone call. I didn't even get an email. So I'm about to call back but this time I've not only got a problem with the *** manager but I've got one with them now too. And since they're not taking it seriously, I'll just go ahead and send in my complaint to the ADA and let them hit the store with that $75,000 fine for denying my service dog entrance and filing a false police report saying I told my dog to bite her. If she had stopped trying to be Billy badass, she might would have noticed she was being recorded but that worked out just fine because I let the cops listen to it and they said there's no doubt she lied, you could hear the entire conversation. One of them said she constantly calls them and they know she's a liar but getting back on topic, I'm calling corporate in a minute and the manager isn't the only one that's not going to like me after I'm done. They had their chance to handle the matter accordingly. The ADA and DOJ will gladly take it from here.

My issue was about the digital coupon that the cashier or mgr in store couldn't help me with. They said they didn't know how it worked. I was given number to your corporation to solve problem on how to use. I am now only filling out questionnaire and not being helped or told how digital works. I have the coupon on my phone which I relayed. However I still without use of it and can't get the help from the store.

I attempted to apply for a position with DG and learned 3 days later that the system had been down for 3 days. Tried to contact HR got the run around on your menu system. Finally went to the store and got their Corp number and still took 45 minutes to get a live person at which time was told the application site was down. Terrible phone system
